(Revised dates!) Mondays, March 11-April 1 | Evolving Tales: Transforming Narratives in Conflict
Join this month-long transformative journey where participants harness conflict as a catalyst for narrative transformation and artistic expression . Led by Talya Reynolds.

Tuesdays, March 26-May 7 (Virtual Class) | The Writers Woodshed: A Sanctuary for Creative Exploration
(Early bird ends Sunday) Dive deep into the sensory waters of your imagination to pull stories up from the unknown, and allow yourself to know them. ⁣Led by Nina Hart.

(New!) Saturday, March 30 from 2-5pm | Dropping into Delight: Yoga (optional) + Immersive Poetry Workshop
This workshop will explore various poetic techniques, personal themes and voice, as well as have guided group and individual support. Beginning with an (optional) yoga session, we will move gently while playing with creative ways to buoy confidence and craft. Led by Inward & Artward Facilitator, Tikva Kingrea.

Mondays, April 15-May 20 | Writing from the Top of Your Head
(Early bird ends Sunday) The Writing from the Top of Your Head workshop helps writers of any level of experience to break through perfectionism, free their imagination, and tell the brave stories they are meant to tell. Led by Nina Hart.

Tuesdays, May 14, 2024 – Sept. 24 | Creative Facilitator Training
(Early Bird registration ends March 31!) An interactive 18-week program on how to create and facilitate unique offerings rooted in the intersection of the creative process, personal stories, and the human condition. Tailored for folks interested in starting a new and fulfilling career path, or simply wanting to deepen their relationship to creativity and self. Led by Story Parlor founder Erin Hallagan Clare.

KIDS PROGRAMMING SPOTLIGHT!

We’re thrilled to have various classes on the horizon dedicated to kids ages 0-13, offered by our friends from Bilingual Birdies Asheville, Misfit Improv, and Asheville School of Comedy and Magic. From music and language classes for our tiniest of friends, to improv and prestidigitation workshops and camps, there’s something for all budding creatives at Story Parlor.

The 2024 Asheville Fringe Arts Festival is back for its 22nd year, dedicated to cultivating strange and wonderful work that lies outside the mainstream.

Thursday, March 28 | Listen to This: Stories and More on Stage
Hosted by Tom Chalmers, Listen to This presents an evening of true-to-life stories (and more!). This month’s theme: "We All Long to Belong" — true tales of trying to integrate into a group.

Wednesday, April 3 (Just announced!)| There’s a Poem in That, Asheville! 
Tell the audience why you think there's a poem in your story, and get matched with a local poet whose job is to discover it for podcast There's a Poem in That, hosted by Emmy-winning, Grammy-nominated poet Todd Boss.
