STORY PARLOR SPACE POLICIES

To help us create a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone, we kindly ask that all guests observe the following:

  • No Dogs Allowed – As much as we love furry friends, we do not allow dogs inside the venue (with the exception of licensed service animals).

  • No Hot Foods – To keep the space fresh and odor-free, we do not allow hot food items. No food or outside drink is permitted at ticketed events.

  • Beverage Policy – Only water, coffee, and tea may be brought into the space. We offer a full bar with a variety of drink options available for purchase. No BYOB ever. No outside beverages are permitted at live events.

  • Accessibility – Our main floor (including restrooms) is ADA accessible. Please note: access to our loft and classroom space requires stairs. If you have specific accessibility needs, we encourage you to reach out in advance so we can best support your visit.

  • Age Policy – Unless otherwise specified, all events are for guests ages 16 and up.

  • Late Arrival Policy – Please plan for delays and time to settle in. Doors typically open 30 minutes before showtime for ticketed live events.  Guests arriving after the event start time may not be denied admittance and their ticket forfeited. Late arrival policies for workshops or other events are determined by the facilitator or host.

AUDIENCE CODE OF CONDUCT

  • Discrimination, bigotry, assault, harassment of any kind, or bullying

  • The use of epithets, slurs, ‘othering’ language, or negative stereotyping

  • Sustained disruption of events or workshops

  • Comments or actions that minimize a person’s lived experience, identity, or safety

  • Directly confronting another guest in an attempt to control their behavior
