Come along on an adventure from the sea to the jungle, in Spanish, French, and English!
Meet Šara and Dani, two educators, musicians, and super silly singers from Bilingual Birdies Asheville, the newest toddler language and music program to launch in Asheville. Šara sings and teaches in French, and Daniela sings and teaches in Spanish, and this day they sing together, with the help of their amazing musician-educator friends Zach Knox and Kylie Brown. Meet them all on Saturday's singalong, with a mix of songs about saying hello, animals, friends, and more! Sing in English, French, and Spanish, meet some puppet friends, and inspire your littles to hear new languages. All ages welcome, 1-6 encouraged.

Šara Stranovsky is a trilingual performer and arts educator with a PhD in Culture and Performance Studies. Before launching music & language classes at Story Parlor as Bilingual Birdies Asheville, she worked with Lincoln Center Education, BAM, and Bilingual Birdies HQ in New York City while performing professionally on Broadway, off-broadway, and international stages as a professional singer and dancer.
Daniela Risquez is a singer, early childhood educator specializing in outdoor education, and a children's book illustrator from Caracas Venezuela. She has toured as a singer across Latin America and the midwest prior to Asheville.
Šara and Dani love working with kids and singing together (hear them in The Royal Suits band), and strive to amplify the powers of cultural exchange, diversity, and language-learning in the Asheville community.
Zach Knox is an educator, multi-instrumentalist and rock opera creator. Catch him singing and playing in bands like Smooth Goose, Diamond River Band and Supatight when he isn’t swarmed by adoring children as a music educator.
Kylie Brown is a multi-instrumentalist who plays flute, voice, trombone, piano, and guitar. When she isn't acting as music education director of a variety of camps and schools, or performing in bands, she teaches privately to students of all ages and abilities in Asheville.

Bilingual Birdies Asheville teaches language & culture awareness through live music, puppetry, and movement games for toddlers and their caregivers through age 6. For ongoing series classes, enrolled families receive a puppet, music downloads, and at-home materials along with their 8 classes. Classes are a great way to establish a foundation for language-learning, bond with your child, socialize with other families, and also experience the developmental benefits of live music. Sliding scale concerts are a way to give back to the community, review class songs with a full band, and hear familiar popular children's songs from different cultures.
