Join us for an evening of folk horror, gothic romance, and live performance celebrating the release of Andrew K. Clark’s Hollow Folk. Featuring performances by acclaimed poet Khalisa Rae and singer-songwriter Dylan Walshe, a book chat with Andrew and local author Thomas Calder, audience Q&A, and book signing.

OFF SITE EVENT! | Join us at Mars Landing Art Gallery for this contemporary telling of Layla & Majnun, the classic Sufi folktale popularized by Nizami, the great 12th-century Persian epic poet.
It’s the story that captured the devotional & mystical heart of the medieval Islamic world. It greatly influenced Shakespeare and many famous poets of Eurasia. This tale is like Romeo & Juliet meets the enchanted, animist heart of the ancestral desert soul. It is a return to the Garden of Eden, to the divine power of Eros. It weds together longing, love, and grief with mystery, annihilation, and the cosmic heart breaking open. Join us for this ritual telling & offering to the Morning Star. Featuring Frank Salzano, with Elon DeHaro on Persian fiddle & instrumentals.

Wednesdays, September 16-October 14 | This full-bodied, approachable poetry class will guide you from "Ooof, poetry" to "Where's my journal?!" by cultivating attention. Perfect for those who are just toe-ing in to poetry, or are looking to reset and refresh their approach. Facilitated by Tikva Kingrea (I&A Certified).
Thursdays | October 15 - November 19 | In this course, Becca combines nearly 2 decades of stand up experience & gems from “The Artists’ Way” and “Comedy Joke Writing” into a packed 6 weeks of workshop and comedy science education. | Facilitated by Becca Steinhoff

Come to deepen your connection with your body and its instincts , and awaken the story alive within you! Saturday, October 31 | Together we’ll explore the spacesbetween body and spirit, imagination and knowing, the seen & unseen - cultivating grounded presence at these thresholds with curiosity. | 11am-3pm

February 21-27, 2027 | Step Into Your Story is an immersive retreat for writers, artists, seekers, and curious humans interested in exploring the narratives that shape their lives and creative work. Through workshops, storytelling, writing, reflection, and community, we'll journey through memory, imagination, archetype, play, and possibility, listening for the deeper stories beneath the surface and the emerging stories calling us forward.
Summer Hybrid Intensive: June-September 2027 | An interactive four-month program on how to create and facilitate unique offerings rooted in the intersection of the creative process, personal stories, and the human condition. Tailored for folks interested in starting a new and fulfilling career path, or simply wanting to deepen their relationship to creativity and self. Led by Inward & Artward founder, Erin Hallagan Clare.
