About the evening…

Laura Boswell and Alex Krug host an evening of music videos, storytelling, song and conversation, including the premieres of: Boswell’s song “Loss”, a collaboration with talented filmmaker David Gwaltney and Alex Krug Combo’s video “Red Afternoon” directed by Laura Boswell.  In addition to the premieres, Boswell’s music video collaborations with Kathryn O’Shea, Heather Taylor, and Aunt Vicki will be screened.  Some of the artists will be there to offer stories, song, and conversation about the work.

About the Filmmakers…

Laura Boswell began making stop-action animation videos with her brother when they were kids. She taught herself video editing as she worked on projects with friends and began filming and directing more seriously beginning in 2020 as she worked on larger collaborations with other artists (from a safe distance). She’s excited to continue growing and expanding her skills as a videographer and is grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such talented and genuine musicians who also happen to be lovely close friends.

David Gwaltney is an award-winning filmmaker and musician. David studied film and television production at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and has been producing video for the better part of 20 years.
