About the Program
Designed for artists, educators, healers, community builders, coaches, facilitators, and creatively curious humans alike, the Creative Facilitator Training explores the intersection of creativity, personal story, facilitation, and the human condition. Participants learn tools and philosophies for crafting transformational workshops, classes, retreats, and creative experiences rooted in authenticity, ethical facilitation, and meaningful connection.
We’ll explore topics including the psychology of creativity, creative blocks and breakthroughs, mindfulness and the creative process, storytelling as a tool for transformation, sustainable creative practice, and the practical logistics of building and marketing creative offerings.
Whether you’re looking to step into a new career path, deepen your existing facilitation practice, or reconnect with your own creative voice, this info session offers a chance to learn more about the journey ahead.

The training is designed to provide a foundation for creative facilitation of all kinds rooted in a deep understanding of the universal elements of the creative process, with the goal of delivering hands-on curriculum which embraces mindfulness and momentum, while also cultivating an environment that is encouraging, supportive, and inspirational.
Open to new and experienced facilitators, artists, teachers, coaches, social service professionals, counselors, and more, this training is dedicated to delivering strategies for fostering a brave space that allows people to take creative risks, while simultaneously instilling confidence in your own creativity and ability to be an engaging facilitator.

Between each meeting, participants will be asked to:
Read approximately 10-20 pages of topic-related resources between each session, along with viewing assigned videos (usually about 15-20 minutes in length).
Commit to a daily(ish) journaling practice.
Respond to short prompts on google classroom between sessions.
Work on/tend to a monthly creative assignment (this ranges from simple creative practice adoptions, to monitoring self-coaching techniques, to ongoing curriculum development).

No — we will be working extensively with idea finding and incubation strategies with the intent of creating a bank of possible offerings to explore and develop throughout the training.
That said, if you do have a specific idea of something you’d like to develop, we absolutely welcome that as well.

While we expect and encourage in-person attendance to make for an optimal experience, we will be implementing an option to zoom-in to accommodate for summer travel, etc.

This program is designed for the purpose of achieving certification, providing participants with comprehensive training and hands-on experience necessary to become certified creative facilitators. As such, it is not intended for auditing or casual participation. Full engagement and attendance are required to ensure that all participants gain the maximum benefit from the program.
