Join us for an exclusive film screening of "The Last Ecstatic Days," a profound exploration of life, death, and community through the lens and actual practice of Tantra. This event, specially curated for Tantra practitioners, offers a unique opportunity to witness the transformative journey of Ethan Sisser, a young man with terminal brain cancer who seeks to teach the world how to embrace death without fear.
About Tantra: Tantra is an ancient practice that fosters an intimacy with the self and others. It embraces the joy and the pain of life; teaching us to be erotically alive in each moment, to trust our existence, and to invite pleasure as a means of healing and alignment. It’s about becoming deeply embodied, allowing the soul to merge fully with the physical form, creating a divine union of spirit and matter. In Tantra, death is not feared but welcomed as part of the life/death/life cycle.
Experience the intersection of death and tantra in a setting that honors both the profound mystery of dying and the vibrant celebration of life. Together, we will have an opportunity to use breath, sound, and movement, the three most powerful tools in the Tantric toolkit, during the actual film screening as we experience Ethan’s final days of life. The experiment here is to create a playground of possibility to explore where a group of Tantra Practitioners can take the experience. There will be an opening circle and some guided exercises. Participants are encouraged to engage with the film through their own embodiment practices. We will pause the film several times in order to allow for louder expressions. Post-screen integration will reflect on how Ethan’s story and the principles of Tantra can lead us towards ecstatic dying with grace and empowerment.
All levels of Tantra Practitioners are welcome.
Reserve your spot today and be part of a community that embraces the sacred dance of life and death.

Synopsis
Ethan Sisser, a young man with terminal brain cancer, sits alone in his hospital room. When he starts livestreaming his death journey on social media, thousands of people around the world join to celebrate his courage. Still, Ethan envisions more – to teach the world how to die without fear. To do that, he needs to film his death.
Honoring Ethan's wish, his doctor Aditi Sethi transports him to an idyllic house in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. What unfolds next is a story rarely glimpsed: how a community of strangers helps a young man die with grace.
A sensory immersion into leaving the body, “The Last Ecstatic Days” reveals a man who will not let us forget him – even after he’s taken his final breath.
