ABOUT THE MUSICIANS:

Natalie Jane Hill is a folk singer songwriter currently based in Marshall, NC. At the root of her songs, there is a balance of traditional folk intertwined with a unique contemporary vision. Hill has released two LPs under the Philly/NYC based label Dear Life Records.

Born and raised in rural Massachusetts and currently living in Brooklyn, NY, Eliza Edens weaves together disparate influences of people and place into her work to create mesmerizing sonic tapestries with guitar and voice. With a love for tinkering with alternate tunings à la Nick Drake, a curious harmonic ear from years of childhood classical piano lessons, and an ever-expanding affinity for words and stories, Edens’ songs build a kaleidoscopic world that documents the parallels between hope and heartbreak. The resulting sound is a diverse palette of guitar-based, experimental folk-rock centered around Edens gently cradled voice and brimming at the edges with pockets of sonic whimsy. Her sophomore album We’ll Become the Flowers was released in 2022.

Hayes Peebles was born and raised in New York City, where indie rock was the soundtrack to his days. But at night and at home, he taught himself guitar by plucking out folk songs, country songs, and sad songs. Unable to deny his affinity for folk, country, and the American songbook, Peebles found himself in Nashville crafting a sound that earned him high praise from Rolling Stone Country, Paste, The Boot, KUTX Austin, Lightning 100, and others.
