Lonesome Station is a live music production company based in Asheville, NC that hosts events in non-traditional spaces with the aim of bringing unique and intimate experiences to both artists and audiences.

ABOUT THE MUSICIANS:

Descolada is an Americana, Country and Folk music project led by Colton Ray Nelson. Reared and raised in Northern Indiana, the well humored melancholy of the Midwest seeps through the pores of his songs.

Descolada’s sound is rooted in tradition. However, Colton's lyricism is often anything but. Stories of internet conspiracy theories, devils, and world destroying black holes weave their way through classic melodies, song structures, and instrumentation.

With folksy roots, enveloped by droning soundscapes, Low Groves tiptoes the lines of traditional folk and indie rock while exploring themes of longing and loss.

The project was formed out of necessity. After losing his last living grandparent and being laid off from his day job with the Chicago White Sox in 2020, he retreated to his vacant grandparents’ house in Chicago to gather belongings and determine his next move. He emerged with the 10 songs that would comprise his debut album: Drifter.

Vandiver (Andrew Hammond) is a singer-sonwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Hammond found Music roots playing intimate shows in small rooms thorughout NY City, mainly as a way to cope with his life playing intimate shows in small rooms throughout NY City. Pseudo Appalachian and somewhat Avant, Hammond'd dynamic voice drives a distincly lyric driven approuch to modern American Folk music.
