The Pop-up Gallery is an intimate, community event where a small group of local artisans
gather to share their work, their vision and their creative expression. Persons showing at the
gallery are selected by application and are wonderfully diverse, talented and uniquely
expressive. The gallery is a no cost event with an open invitation to the public.
Whether you are an art connoisseur or simply looking for something different, the gallery is an
easy-breezy way to enjoy a relaxed Sunday afternoon in west Asheville. Come see what we are
all about! We’d love to have you join us!!

Mynde is an unconventional free spirit who found her comfy nest as a visual creations artist. Her 1st art experience was scribbling w/ crayons, chalk & her daddy’s ballpoint pens. At the age of 5, she took art lessons at the Charlotte Mint Museum, way back in 1957. At the age of 6, she declared herself an artist.
Her passion is sharing her art. She delights in the responses she receives, whether it is a simple smile or expressions of confusion & bewilderment, all are good!
Like it or hate it, no matter; Myn believes art’s secret mission is to make you feel & sometimes think… and … maybe even take a short journey into an unknown wonderland…
