What If Social Media Felt Like an Extension of Your Creativity—Instead of a Chore?

You have a message that matters. Your people are out there, waiting to hear it. But if social media feels exhausting, overwhelming, or like a game you can’t win—you’re not alone.

This 2-hour workshop isn’t about hacking the algorithm or forcing yourself to post more. It’s about reclaiming social media as a creative tool—one that helps you connect, share, and inspire without burnout. Using The Creative Connection Method, you’ll develop a simple, repeatable system that makes posting feel as natural as your creative work itself.

By the End of This Workshop, You’ll Have:

  • The Creative Connection Method → A 3-step system that makes content creation effortless

  • Your Social Media Reframe → A mindset shift that transforms posting from pressure to play

  • A Done-for-You Content Plan → Walk away with 30+ post ideas tailored to your voice and mission

  • A Personalized Sharing Strategy → No more guessing—just a clear, aligned approach that fits YOU

Why This is Different:

It’s NOT about hacking the algorithm—it’s about reclaiming it. You’ll learn how to work with the system in a way that amplifies your message, not drains your energy.

It’s a creative approach to content—NOT just strategy. No rigid posting schedules, no “content pillars” that feel restrictive. Instead, you’ll develop a system that sparks ideas and keeps you excited to share.

It’s about showing up for your people—without losing yourself. Social media is meant to connect, not perform. This class helps you build an audience that truly aligns with your voice and mission.

  • Let’s be real: social media wasn’t built with creatives in mind. Algorithms. Analytics. “Content calendars.” Ugh. It’s no wonder it feels like a soul-sucking chore instead of a joyful way to share your work.

But what if it didn’t have to be that way?

The Creative Connection Series is a transformational experience for artists, writers, makers, and mission-driven humans who are ready to ditch the hustle and reclaim their voice online. This isn’t about growing for growth’s sake. It’s about using social media as a powerful tool to connect with the right people, share your message with heart, and stay grounded in your creative truth.

This class combines mindset shifts, practical tools, and creative exercises to help you build a relationship with social media that feels aligned, inspired, and—dare we say—fun.

Because when your creativity leads the way, marketing doesn’t feel like marketing anymore.

    It feels like sharing.
    It feels like service.
    It feels like you.

Ready to stop forcing and start flowing? You’re in the right place.

With over a decade of experience in communication strategy, conflict resolution, and organizational development, Talya blends heart-centered facilitation with actionable systems that empower creatives to show up with purpose.

Originally from Sedona, Arizona, Talya’s upbringing immersed her in a world of introspection, nature, and self-expression—values that continue to guide her work today. She holds a B.S. in Human Communication from Arizona State University, where she founded Civility Instead, a student organization focused on creating space for courageous dialogue on complex issues. Her background in mediation, group facilitation, and civil dialogue has made her a trusted guide for creatives navigating the vulnerable territory of self-expression.

Currently serving as the Director of Development and Operations at Story Parlor—a hub for creative connection in Asheville, NC—Talya leads sponsorship development, event operations, and the creation of digital resources to support artists and storytellers. Her work is rooted in the belief that authentic storytelling can heal, inspire, and unite.

The Creative Connection Method grew from Talya’s own journey of turning social media from a source of pressure into a playful, powerful extension of her creative voice. Through this workshop, she helps fellow creatives reframe social media as a tool for connection—not performance—so they can share their message without burnout and build communities aligned with their mission.

“Talya is a powerhouse of a creative facilitator! Combining a mindful approach with the power of storytelling, she makes space for the uncomfortable parts of us to breathe without judgment. Through guided meditation, provocative questions, art-making, and community, she brings both seriousness and playfulness to her subject matter while inviting us to do the same, and in the process releasing the critical part of ourselves we didn't know we were so attached to.” - Faye D’Avanza
