What do you do when you're faced with an overwhelming pile of unfinished creative work—an entire digital archive of “maybes?"
To borrow an Appalachian metaphor: you sift through the dirt to find the gemstones.
This workshop will help you apply an objective lens to your creative writing. It offers a structured method for tackling both your current unfinished pieces and the countless "maybes" of tomorrow. You'll learn to distill your ideas, sharpen your self-editing skills, refine your critical perspective, and transform your raw drafts into polished, completed works.
In a supportive and collaborative environment, you'll have the opportunity to engage with peers, receive constructive feedback, and experience the satisfaction of uncovering and showcasing your finest gemstones.

This class is for you if:
You’re the type to collect things like: untitled Word Docs; stream-of-consciousness journal entries; abstract voice memos; poetic notes on the Notes App; etcetera.
You have a piece of writing that you want to complete (i.e. a short story you started in college; a dream you’ve always intended to turn into a poem; a dialogue scene that you can’t seem to “get right,” etc.).
You have some experience and comfort with the process of creative writing.
You’re feeling open, determined, and inspired to take a look at your creative work from different perspectives.
You’re craving the accountability, connection, and collective energy of a creative group of people.
