Cindy Berryman-Fink used storytelling as a teaching method in her 31 years as a college professor at the University of Cincinnati. In 2020, she published her memoir: Beware of Hanging Icicles: Tales of a New England Girl which included 20 stories of her early years. She told stories at Stories on Asheville’s Front Porch, the Weaverville Community Center and on the podcast with Chuck: “In Love with the Finks.”

Sherry Lovett is a storyteller with a passion for connecting people through the timeless art of storytelling. With over twenty years of experience in performing and teaching, Sherry draws inspiration from her Scot-Irish roots and her rich North Carolina heritage, which spans from the rugged mountains to the coastal shores. She believes that stories have the power to inspire, uplift, and unite, and her mission is to bring those experiences to life, whether through an old ballad, an adventurous tale of King Arthur, or a hearty laugh over the antics of Jack. No matter where your storytelling journey takes you, Sherry will guide you with warmth, wisdom, and a deep love for the art of storytelling.

Larry Pearlman has been a professional teller in NC since 2018, but has incorporated stories all of his life as an author, public speaker, workshop facilitator, actor, radio show host, Director of Field Sales Training for an international company, and a minister. He is currently a member of the Asheville Storytelling Circle and believes their motto: If you’ve got a life, you’ve got a story. Here he is to present stories from his life.
