Join us at Story Parlor to celebrate the digital launch of The Story Bound Anthology, the inaugural publication from Story Bound Press, a new independent publishing imprint rooted in the creative community of Story Parlor.
Bringing together the work of writers and artists with close ties to Story Parlor, The Story Bound Anthology explores personal mythology, transformation, and the stories that shape our lives. The digital edition features poetry, creative nonfiction, personal essays, short fiction, photography, music, and video.
The evening will include readings and presentations from contributing artists, along with a conversation with editors Erin Hallagan Clare and Alli Marshall about the vision behind Story Bound Press and what’s ahead for this new publishing venture.
The print edition of The Story Bound Anthology will be celebrated at a second launch party on Friday, January 15, 2027, at Story Parlor, featuring contributor readings, books for sale, and the announcement of our upcoming writing contest.

This celebration will also serve as a fundraiser for Story Bound Press. As a new independent press, we’re building the resources to support emerging and established artists, publish adventurous work, and create more opportunities for stories to find their readers. If you believe in the value of independent publishing and a thriving local literary arts community, we invite you to contribute. Donations of any amount will help support our inaugural anthology and future publications.
