Molly Hartwell and Laura Boswell met in early 2019 at a brewery in Asheville, NC where Laura was performing at a songwriter's event on International Women’s Day. Both accomplished singers, songwriters, and performers in their own right, they quickly discovered a mutual love of folk music and duo-centric, harmony-driven songs. Molly & Laura released their self-titled debut album last November which they recorded with Daniel Shearin (River Whyless) at Citizen Vinyl and Sleeping Dogs Studio.
