Led by Story Parlor founder, Erin Hallagan Clare, this half-day workshop offers a deep dive into the basic elements of storytelling and how to transform true-to-life experiences into well-crafted, engaging stories for the stage.

  • Students will:

    • Learn techniques for identifying and developing story-worthy personal narratives

    • Explore narrative structure, pacing, and emotional impact in storytelling

    • Engage in creative exercises to deepen their connection to their stories

    • Build confidence in both the story crafting, and the art of telling

Participants are asked to bring three possible (true-life) stories to class; we will use these as a foundation to hone in on one in particular to develop during our time together. Whether you're a seasoned storyteller or new to the scene, this class will provide the tools you need to shape your experiences into engaging performances.
