Embrace what haunts you with three masters of the Gothic. Author Andrew K. Clark ("Stephen King meets Appalachia Meets Flannery O'Connor's The Misfit"), award-winning filmmaker Jennifer Trudrung, and audio drama powerhouse Palimpsest ("audio drama's best foray into the Gothic") present an evening of nightmare tales to chill the dark autumn night.

  • Jennifer Trudrung’s love of horror stretches both in front of and behind the camera. As an actress she’s appeared in film and television series, including The Vampire Diaries, Goosebumps and Halloween Kills. As a screenwriter and producer, she’s built quite the filmography of short horror films, including the upcoming "Hickory Dickory Dock," the award winning short films "Here There Be Tygers" based on the Stephen King story and “Unbearing." Jennifer has also written several award-winning screenplays including Spectrum and Nighttime Is No Fun Anymore. Plus, she penned the feature film The Nest which is currently available everywhere on VOD.

Jennifer focuses on writing female-driven stories that delve into the themes of motherhood, aging, grief and parenting, and twists them into the macabre and horrific.

Jennifer is a mom of two incredible daughters and an actress signed with Bold Talent.

  • Palimpsest began in 2017 as passion project made by friends to kill time between theater productions. As the story of Anneliese and her sister Clare unfolded, the creators knew they had discovered a new favorite way to tell stories. Subsequent seasons traveled to different times and places, but always within the same house, and always centered on a woman who may or may not be what she seems.

Over the course of five seasons and six stand-alone episodes, Palimpsest has established itself as a crucial part of the horror audio landscape. They have accrued over 1,000,000 downloads, been on multiple end-of-year “best of” lists, been nominated for AudioVerse awards, and been listed as an important show in the BBC’s “State of Audio Drama” report. Critics have called Palimpsest “a masterclass in atmosphere” and “audio fiction’s best foray into the Gothic.”
