Cozy up as seasoned storytellers Mica Sun and Josh Fox take you on a journey through time along a fabulous, mythic, reflective dive into a world of magical tales.
Story Parlor veteran Mica Sun brings unfolding mythology with performance, music, poetry, and oral storytelling tradition together in a shared journey exploring purpose, place, and the mythic in the modern moment. Expect to sing some, be captivated, challenged, moved to tears and laughter and sit back and enjoy a good show.

Mica Sun hails from Upstate South Carolina, child of farming, linguist, literature, and drama teachers– one parent from Cherryfield near Brevard, NC in rural Appalachia, the other from Philadelphia, PA.
Mica works as a land-steward, oral storyteller, actor, teacher, writer, musician, poet, performer, producer, facilitator, and sacred faerie clown for children and adults of all ages.
He performed for years with The Faerie Kin, an Asheville-area stiltwalking pageantry troupe, and has produced two large works of mythic storytelling theater locally:
"An Appalachian Winter" with FringeFest in 2015.
"Ancestor Forest: The Earth is Alive" with Josh Fox and Street Creature Puppets in 2021,
Recently, he has been touring "The Floating Kingdom" a mythobardic storytelling show with local musician and singer-songwriter Samara Jade, from 2024-2025. www.micasun.com

Josh Fox is a seasoned ritualist, facilitator, plant-lover, and song-carrier. As Fox has built a life around the healing powers of plants, music, and community; he writes music that uplifts the heart, honors his plant allies, and tickles the human spirit. He is both a song-carrier and song-channeler and incorporates music into his rituals and private practice. He regularly facilitates group singing for the sake of group connection, feeding the spirits with beauty, and as a sacred form of group prayer. Many of his songs are shared in song-circles, choirs, rituals, puppet-shows, and by campfires and rivers.
